Hi, I'm Paula Miles -
Your Therapist for Anxiety, Feeling Overwhelm & Emotional Resilience

Helping high-performing women reclaim their emotional wellbeing with therapy that looks at the cause of your symptoms.

Because You Deserve More Than Just Coping With Anxiety

I understand the weight of anxiety, especially when it intertwines with professional responsibilities. There were days I woke up with a knot in my stomach, dreading the challenges ahead.

Balancing a demanding career while battling internal turmoil felt overwhelming.

With a background in Oil and Gas Management, I spent over nine years in corporate roles, including positions as a Process Consultant and Senior Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master. During this time, I grappled with anxiety and depression, often in silence, as I navigated the pressures of high-stakes projects and tight deadlines.

Later in life, I was diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition and identified as intellectually gifted. This helped me understand how years of masking, overcompensating, and striving to meet external expectations had contributed to chronic internal pressure and anxiety.

Recognising these patterns deepened both my personal healing and my clinical understanding of how high-functioning individuals can struggle quietly beneath outward competence.

A Shift In Perspective

The turning point came when I chose to confront my inner struggles rather than suppress them.

I realized that many professionals, like myself, were seeking ways on how to combat anxiety at work but lacked the resources or support. This realization led me to pursue a path where I could assist others facing similar challenges.

Now, as a licensed UK Psychotherapist Psychoanalyst and an MSc Psychology student, my mission is to provide a safe space for individuals to explore their emotions, understand their triggers, and develop coping strategies.
